What is the difference between Arya Samaj Marriage and Court Marriage? +
Arya Samaj Marriage is the traditional Vedic ceremony with havan, mantras and saptapadi, performed at the Arya Samaj Mandir. It is legally valid under the Arya Samaj Marriage Validation Act 1937 and the Hindu Marriage Act 1955. Court Marriage is a civil legal registration done before the Marriage Officer or SDM under the Special Marriage Act 1954 or Hindu Marriage Act 1955. आर्य समाज विवाह वैदिक धार्मिक संस्कार है, जबकि Court Marriage सरकारी नागरिक पंजीकरण।
Which option is best for me? +
For most Hindu couples we recommend the Arya Samaj + Court Marriage combo (₹7,000) — you get the Vedic ceremony and the Government Certificate. For inter-religion couples who do not wish to convert, the Special Marriage Act 1954 (₹7,000) is the right option (30-day notice). For inter-caste couples within the Hindu fold, Arya Samaj is ideal.
What is the legal age for marriage in India? +
Groom must be 21+, bride must be 18+. This is the same for Arya Samaj, Hindu Marriage Act and Special Marriage Act.
Is parents' permission required? +
No. Parental consent is NOT a legal requirement for adult marriage in India. The Supreme Court has confirmed this multiple times. नहीं, माता-पिता की अनुमति आवश्यक नहीं है।
Is the Marriage Certificate valid all over India? +
Yes. A Marriage Certificate issued in Delhi is valid in every state of India, by every government department, the passport office, banks, embassies and courts.
Can the same certificate be used abroad? +
Yes — with Apostille (for Hague-Convention countries) or MEA + Embassy attestation (for other countries). We arrange this in-house.

Absolutely not. The price quoted is the final price you pay. No "government fee extra", no "advocate fee extra", no surprise add-ons.

Process & Documents
What documents do we need? +
Age proof, ID proof, address proof, 4 photographs each, 2 witnesses (3 for SMA), affidavit of marital status. See our

What if I don't have a birth certificate? +
The Class 10 certificate, Aadhar card or passport can serve as age proof. We will guide you through alternatives if needed.
Can witnesses be arranged by you? +
Yes — for genuine couples who cannot bring their own. This is a complimentary service.
Where will the marriage take place? +
At our Arya Samaj Mandir premises in Delhi. The location is shared on call to maintain privacy. We are easily accessible from all parts of Delhi NCR.
Inter-Caste & Inter-Religion
Can a Hindu marry a Muslim / Christian / Sikh in Delhi? +
Yes — under the Special Marriage Act 1954. The 30-day notice period applies. Neither partner needs to change their religion.
Can inter-caste couples get Arya Samaj Marriage? +
Yes — Arya Samaj is famously inclusive of inter-caste marriages. The pandit performs the same Vedic ceremony for any couple.
Is the ₹2.5 lakh government incentive real? +
Yes — Dr Ambedkar Foundation's Scheme for Social Integration through Inter-Caste Marriages offers ₹2.5 lakh to eligible inter-caste couples. We guide you on application.
NRI Marriage
Can I marry in Delhi if I live abroad? +
Yes. Both partners (or at least the NRI partner) must visit India for the marriage. We can complete everything within 1–3 days.
Will the certificate be accepted for spouse visa? +
Yes. With Apostille / MEA attestation it is accepted globally for spouse / dependent / immigration visas.
Can I marry a foreign national in Delhi? +
Yes — under the Special Marriage Act 1954. We help liaise with the foreign embassy for the No-Impediment Certificate.

What if my family is threatening us? +
We coordinate with experienced advocates to file a protection writ before the Delhi High Court under Article 21. Police protection orders are typically granted within 24–48 hours.
Is my Aadhar / personal data secure with you? +
Yes — documents are stored only for the duration of the case and are not shared digitally with anyone outside the legal procedure.
After Marriage
Can I change my name in passport / Aadhar after marriage? +
Yes — the Marriage Certificate is the standard document accepted for name change. We can guide you through the process at the Passport Seva Kendra / UIDAI.
Can I get a duplicate certificate? +
Yes — a certified true copy can be obtained from the SDM office. We assist for ₹2,500.
Is the marriage reversible? +
Marriage can only be ended through divorce. We do not assist with divorce, but can refer you to a trusted family-law advocate.
