The Complete Vedic Ceremony / सम्पूर्ण वैदिक संस्कार

हमारे यहाँ आर्य समाज विवाह की पूरी विधि निम्नलिखित क्रम में सम्पन्न होती है, जो लगभग 1 से 2 घंटे में पूरी हो जाती है —

1. स्वस्ति वाचन / Swasti Vachan — मंगलाचरण एवं वर-वधू तथा दोनों परिवारों के कल्याण की प्रार्थना। / Auspicious chants seeking blessings for both families.
2. शान्ति पाठ / Shanti Path — विवाह के निर्विघ्न सम्पादन हेतु शान्ति-वेद मन्त्र। / Vedic verses invoking peace before the ceremony.
3. ईश्वर स्तुति प्रार्थना उपासना / Ishvar Stuti — ईश्वर का स्मरण एवं स्तुति। / Prayers to the Supreme Being.
4. हवन / Havan — पवित्र अग्नि के समक्ष आहुति, आर्य समाज पद्धति का प्रमुख अंग। / Sacred fire ritual which is the centerpiece of Arya Samaj marriage.
5. कन्यादान / Kanyadan — कन्या के पिता द्वारा कन्या को वर को सौंपना। / Symbolic giving away of the bride by her father.
6. पाणिग्रहण संस्कार / Panigrahan — वर द्वारा वधू का हाथ ग्रहण करना। / Holding of hands marking acceptance of partnership.
7. सप्तपदी / Saptapadi — पवित्र अग्नि के चारों ओर सात फेरे एवं सात प्रतिज्ञाएँ। / Seven sacred steps around the fire — seven lifelong vows of marriage.
8. सिन्दूरदान एवं मंगलसूत्र / Sindoor & Mangalsutra — वर द्वारा वधू की माँग में सिन्दूर एवं गले में मंगलसूत्र। / The bride is adorned with sindoor and mangalsutra.
9. आशीर्वाद / Ashirvad — पंडित जी एवं उपस्थित बुजुर्गों द्वारा नवदम्पति को आशीर्वाद। / Blessings from the pandit and elders.
10. विवाह प्रमाणपत्र / Marriage Certificate — विधिवत् रूप से Marriage Certificate जारी कर दिया जाता है। / The legally valid Marriage Certificate is issued.

आर्य समाज विवाह के लिए बहुत कम एवं सरल दस्तावेज़ चाहिए होते हैं। यदि कोई दस्तावेज़ कम भी हो तो घबराइए नहीं — पहले हमसे बात कर लीजिए, हम पूरा मार्गदर्शन देंगे।

• Age Proof / आयु प्रमाण — 10वीं कक्षा प्रमाणपत्र, जन्म प्रमाणपत्र, पासपोर्ट या Aadhar (वर 21+ वर्ष, वधू 18+ वर्ष आवश्यक)। / Class 10 certificate, birth certificate, passport or Aadhar (groom 21+, bride 18+).
• ID Proof / पहचान पत्र — Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Passport, या Driving Licence। / Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Passport or Driving Licence.
• Address Proof / निवास प्रमाण — दोनों पक्षों का। / For both bride and groom.
• 4 Passport-size Photos — दोनों के। / Four passport-size photographs of each partner.

• Divorce Decree / तलाक डिक्री — यदि पूर्व विवाह हो चुका हो। / If previously married.

Maharishi Dayanand's central teaching is the unity of humanity — no caste-based distinctions. Therefore inter-caste marriages are conducted at our Arya Samaj Mandir Delhi without restriction. For inter-religion couples, one partner can voluntarily accept Vedic principles through a simple ceremony of Shuddhi, and then the marriage proceeds normally. If neither partner wishes to convert, a Court Marriage under the Special Marriage Act 1954 is the right choice — and we handle that too.
